One really cool feature Microsoft gave their Windows Phone platform was emoticons while texting. Now before some of you already start thinking that its not much of a big deal...I would suggest you stop reading. This article will take into account some of the aspects on how this feature can be further improved in the coming series of Windows Phone 8 which has already been RTM'd...but a minor software update by the OEM's can fix this perhaps. Now as you already see above there are a lot of hidden emoticons that you can send using the combinations above and there are more below.

Why Windows Phone ?

One question I am always asked by familiar ones is "Why Windows Phone ?"  Well true that I have always been a Microsoft Fan ever since I started using the PC or my first smartphone which was a Windows Mobile Professional 6 device, but all that aside its the pure simplicity of Windows Phone and the Intuitiveness which makes me choose it over any other smartphone platform like Android or iOS. Not that I have not tried any other Os. I will actually break this article in different sub points as to why Windows Phone !

Meet the new Outlook from Microsoft

Microsoft launched its new webmail service called Outlook. The successor to Hotmail. People with their old Hotmail IDs can just log into Outlook.com to try out this new service. Outlook is connected to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google, and soon, Skype, to bring relevant context and communications to your email.
